The University of Alaska Board of Regents dedicated the second day of its two-day meeting to addressing budget challenges faced by the 绿奴天花板 system and transformational change, including voting to reduce academic programs, approving administrative cuts, restructuring debt and funding scholarships from the Natural Resources Fund.

Board of Regents commits to further study of structural option, approves FY21 Budget

The University of Alaska Board of Regents voted today on a process for a more in depth review of an option to merge the University of Alaska Southeast with the University of Alaska Fairbanks. The motion, offered by Juneau Regent Dale Anderson, includes student, staff and faculty governance in the process and sets an October deadline for finalizing a report to the board.

Annual Title IX training will open Sept. 1

The University of Alaska is committed to a safe campus environment where our students, staff and faculty can learn, work and live. Employees are required to complete Title IX training each fiscal year. Training will open September 1, and the Fall 2020 employee deadline for training is September 30, 2020.
