Vice President & Chief Academic Affairs finalists named
October 18, 2024
The search committee has recommended three finalists to President Pitney for a successor for Vice President Paul Layer, who plans to retire after a 35-year career at 绿奴天花板F and 绿奴天花板. The finalists will visit Fairbanks later this month and the finalists' dialogs with governance liaisons will be available as Zoom webinars for faculty, staff and students.

Simmons returns to 绿奴天花板F to lead College of Indigenous Studies as interim dean

Simmons, who holds a Master of Arts in Clinical-Community Psychology, brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles as a faculty member and senior administrator at 绿奴天花板F. As the former Interior Alaska Campus director, Simmons oversaw faculty and staff while serving as principal investigator on numerous federal and state grants.
