Deductible carry over plan will end April 1

Our current health plan year ends June 30, 2021 with the next plan year starting July 1, 2021. In the past, medical claims incurred in the final three months of the plan year were applied to the deductible of the following plan year.

Telehealth benefits will continue as part of Premera healthcare plan until June 30

Access to care has been challenging due to increased demand related to COVID-19. Because of this, we are providing you and your covered dependents (ages 1 and older) continued access to telehealth resources under your Premera plan. And, cost shares will be waived on telehealth services provided by in-network providers.

What's happening with COVID-19 vaccines

In Alaska, health care workers and people over age 65 are currently eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Most vaccination appointments for the month of January are full, but the State of Alaska is expecting an additional supply of vaccine in February, which will allow additional opportunities for people to get vaccinated. At this point, we don't know when the state will start making appointments available to other groups of people.
