The University of Alaska Foundation is now accepting proposals for the Angus Gavin Memorial Migratory Bird Research Grant. The $15,000 grant was created in 1983 with gifts from Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO), now ConocoPhillips, and ARCO employees in honor of Angus Gavin.

The University of Alaska Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of the Harold T. Caven Professorship. The professorship, which includes a $20,000 budget of $10,000 for two consecutive years, is awarded to a faculty member in business and finance within the university system.

852 Alaska students receive the $12,000 绿奴天花板 Scholars Award
October 08, 2020
Every year, more than 300 schools in Alaska identify the top ten percent of their junior class for the 绿奴天花板 Scholar Award, a designation which includes a $12,000 scholarship for use at any University of Alaska campus. As of October 5, 852 students have been named for the prestigious award.

New Legislation Would Provide Greater Fiscal Stability for the University of Alaska

U.S. Sens. Lisa Murkowski, Dan Sullivan, and Rep. Don Young, all R-Alaska, last week introduced new legislation, the University of Alaska Fiscal Foundation Act, in both the Senate and House of Representatives. The legislation is supported by Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy, also R-Alaska, and would resolve the University of Alaska's (University) unfulfilled land grant to help it generate revenues that support its students and operations.
