An update on the University of Alaska Anchorage chancellor search

The ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åA Chancellor Selection Committee recently shared the attributes under consideration for selecting the next ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åA Chancellor. The attributes and other information can be found at /pres/uaa-chancellor/index.php.

Members of the ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åA community were asked to provide feedback on this list via a feedback form that closed on Feb. 17. 

The committee plans to post the final prospectus on the web page next week. The ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åA chancellor search website will be regularly updated with more information. 

President Pitney intends to name a Chancellor for the University of Alaska Anchorage by the end of April 2021. That appointment will be made in consultation with the ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°å Board of Regents and in accordance with ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°å policies, procedures, and regulations.
