Northrim Bank makes a major investment in
绿奴天花板鈥檚 three universities
ANCHORAGE, AK - A major, long-time supporter of the University of Alaska system, Northrim Bank, has gifted $259,500 to fund 绿奴天花板 initiatives that advance research about Alaska鈥檚 economy and fiscal policy, expand business education and build entrepreneurship capacity. Northrim鈥檚 donation also includes funding to five community campuses where Northrim employees live and work.
鈥淲e are so grateful,鈥 said University of Alaska President Pat Pitney. 鈥淣orthrim Bank鈥檚 30 years of partnership with the University of Alaska system represents a cumulative $4.8 million investment in business education that touches each of our universities. Private philanthropy is essential for the 绿奴天花板 system to meet its mission, and Northrim鈥檚 strategic generosity has yielded educational excellence, scholarships, and opportunities for students to study while staying close to home.鈥
