System Office Mask Guidance

As the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, guidance regarding mitigation measures such as masking has ebbed and flowed. Our universities continue to encourage social distancing, regular handwashing and staying home if you're sick.

Individual universities have issued their own mask guidance, but that can be confusing for System Office staff who aren’t sure what purview their offices fall under. 

There are System Office staff who work on each of our main universities’ campuses at ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åF in Fairbanks, ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åA in Anchorage and ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åS in Juneau. Each of these headquarters fall under the guidance of the university the offices are physically located on. 

Butrovich, for example, falls under the guidance of ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åF Chancellor Dan White, Bragaw will fall under the guidance of ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åA Chancellor Sean Parnell, and ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åS-based System Office staff fall under the guidance of ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åS Chancellor Karen Carey.
