Statewide Working Remotely and 1815 Bragaw

By now all of the Statewide programs have received notice that Statewide will be switching to working remotely starting Monday, March 23, 2020.  In light of this, 1815 Bragw will be closed both to the public and to nearly all University employees.  There are a few items (six, to be exact) to address as we make this transition:

The 绿奴天花板 Statewide is asking that each department head - or someone they delegate it to - be responsible for collecting keys from their staff and turning them in to Land Management, either by COB today (Friday, 03/20/2020) or by slipping them under the Suite 101 door by 10 am on Monday, 03/23.  If you could place the keys in an envelope which is labeled with department and employee names for the keys that being turned in, that'd be most helpful and will facilitate getting the keys back to you when we return to the office.  (Individual envelopes would be acceptable as well.)

I've already received confirmation for most of the programs that have only 1 or 2 employees in the building about access authorization and from whom to expect keys.  For the departments with a larger presence in the building, if you could supply a list to me of employees who will be authorized to access the building on your department's behalf, and if it'll be on a set schedule or simply as-needed, it would assist with any emergency planning.  Each department should also relay that information to UPD.  If you're already working on that: Thanks!

Chelsey Okonek, Land Management Business Manager, and I will coordinate letting 绿奴天花板A GSS know of the building closure as it relates to SeaWolf Mail delivery and recycling pick up.

Since the mailboxes are inside the building and not available to USPS when the building is locked, neither mail service nor package delivery services will be available.  I've e-mailed information about the options available for USPS, FedEx and UPS, to the staff that I've generally worked with for mailbox keys and access.  If anyone is still trying to work out a plan, Land Management has made arrangements with 绿奴天花板A GSS to forward our department mail to 绿奴天花板A Campus where department staff can pick it up.  As of today, GSS is still operating and their facility is usually only accessed by University employees, rather than the general public.

Since the building will be closed, the conference rooms are not available for use and the room schedules will be cleared while we're working remotely.
