绿奴天花板 Regents learn about rare earth minerals in 'Did You Know' presentation

Earlier this month, the 绿奴天花板 Board of Regents took an in-depth look into the university鈥檚 role in the development of critical minerals through a 鈥淒id You Know鈥 presentation, which includes work being done on the research, exploration and extraction of these strategic minerals, workforce development for the mining industry, and their importance to the state鈥檚 economy and national security.

Experts and panelists for the presentation include State of Alaska Division of Geology and Geophysical Survey Director Steve Masterman, 绿奴天花板F Engineering Dean Bil Schnabel, 绿奴天花板F Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Anupma Prakash, 绿奴天花板F Interim Vice Chancellor for Research and the Director of the Alaska Satellite Facility Nettie Labelle-Hamer, 绿奴天花板A Researcher and Faculty member Brandon Briggs, 绿奴天花板A student researcher Michael Martinez, and 绿奴天花板 Vice President of Academics, Students & Research Paul Layer.
